Meet Your Counselor

Guiding families through divorce with care and structure

As the Director of the High Conflict Mediation Institute, I help families struggling through a divorce. I am a Certified Mediator, trained at Northwestern University, and a certified Parent Coordinator for the courts.

In this role, I assist parents in creating a healthy co-parenting relationship by reducing conflict and making decisions in the children's best interests. We also provide Reunification Therapy, which aims to reintroduce a parent (or parents) back into a child's life in a safe and controlled manner.

I have extensive counseling experience with children and families. I have worked in both inpatient and outpatient settings at Linden Oaks Hospital and in private practice for nearly 10 years.

How we help

Structured, child-centered support for every stage of a family's transition.

Reunification Therapy

Helps rebuild the relationship between a child and a parent after separation, estrangement, or a long gap in contact. The process starts with separate sessions for each parent (90 minutes) and each child (60 minutes), followed by recommendations for next steps.

Family Mediation Support

Guided conversations that help parents reach agreements on parenting time, schedules, and decisions — with less conflict and without going back to court for every issue.

High-Conflict Co-Parenting Coaching

One-on-one coaching for parents who struggle to communicate. Focus areas include de-escalation, boundaries, and business-like co-parenting communication.

Individual and Family Counseling

Support for parents and children coping with the stress of divorce, custody changes, and family transitions.

Parenting Plan Guidance

Help creating or adjusting a parenting plan that works for the child and is realistic for both households.

Court-Involved Services

Work with families referred by the court, attorneys, or guardians ad litem.

We do not accept insurance.

Insurance does not cover this type of therapy, so all services are private pay.
